A chain of ten-plus locations is really ten-plus separate stock levels. An online order disconnected from them means somebody phones around, asks what is on the shelf and moves the order by hand, which is exactly the part that breaks at the weekend.
What we built
We built the whole chain: a shared catalogue across locations, a cart, card payment online via MAIB, and automatic notifications to the right location's staff and to couriers.
What it does
The order reaches the right location without manual handoff, and payment is taken at order time rather than on delivery.
